The thrushes sing as the sun is going, |
太陽が沈むにつれてツグミたちは歌う |

And the finches whistle in ones and pairs, |
フィンチ(鳥)たちは一羽やつがいでピーピー鳴いている |

And as it gets dark loud nightingales |
暗くなるとナイチンゲールたちが大きな声で |

In bushes |
藪の中でさえずる |

Pipe, as they can when April wears, |
4月が過ぎていくときできる限りの声で |

As if all time were theirs. |

These are brand-new birds |
